My thanks to the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center in Albuquerque for the invitation to do a book signing there today for Winter of the Metal People.
I sold several books through the gift shop, but the best part was the many conversations with Pueblo and non-Pueblo people alike. Two folks already owned the book and bought a second copy to give to a friend. That's quite an endorsement. Others couldn't attend but ordered autographed copies through the gift shop's online service.
Click here to visit the center's website. Besides online shopping at the dazzling gift shop, you'll see exhibits, schedules of Indian dances, events, historical information on New Mexico's 19 pueblos, art, and other reasons to visit the center some day soon yourself.
